LID Signprinter Pro1: industrial additive manufacturing for signs

The LID Signprinter Pro1 brings additive manufacturing to the production of signs with an industrial approach: dimensional control, repeatability and digital workflow, to reduce steps, operational variables and waste typical of traditional processes.

Mechanical stability and precision

  • Movement system: linear motor and rail guides to reduce mechanical play and maintain stable movement.
  • Plate rigidity: Double Z.H Type platform for greater structural stability during printing.
  • Dimensional repeatability: architecture designed to respect declared operating tolerances, with limited deformations.

Thermal control for internal and external applications

  • Heated chamber: thermal management up to 60 °C to improve the stability of the piece being printed.
  • Double power: 1000 W for internal applications (PETG) and 2200 W for external applications (ASA).
  • Automatic leveling: ABL for the flatness and consistency of the first layer.

Extrusion and productivity

The MISO (Multi-in Single-out) extrusion system is designed to handle material or color transitions without interrupting the flow, useful in the production of complex letters and components.

  • 0.4 mm nozzle: precision and detail oriented for interior applications.
  • 0.6 mm nozzle: oriented towards productivity and speed for external applications.

Software: from 2D to functional 3D

  • Shrinkage compensation: dimensional correction algorithms to neutralize the thermal contraction of polymers.
  • Panel interlocking: management of the carcass-panel tolerance to limit light leaks.
  • Automatic generation: support steps, slots, drainage holes and passages for LED wiring.
  • Network management: parameterization via LAN to coordinate multi-machine lines.

Technical materials and aesthetic finish

  • ASA for outdoors: designed for UV resistance, waterproofing and durability in outdoor environments.
  • PETG for interiors: opaque or diffusive variants for light management and reduction of additional processing.
  • Drying protocol: controlled drying for stability of the material and consistency of the result.

Applications for letters and sign systems

  • Illuminated letters: front-lit, side-lit and back-lit configurations with LED paths integrated into the casing.
  • Modular solutions: track letters and magnetic systems for installations that require quick replacements.
  • Complex geometries: solid 3D letters with curved, inclined or beveled profiles that are difficult to obtain with manual folding.
